I am a pediatric endocrinologist interested in the origins of obesity-related cardiometabolic disease. In particular, I am interested in the genetic, environmental, and developmental factors that program metabolically healthy versus unhealthy obesity. Currently, I am studying mechanisms of healthy white adipose tissue expansion, with the goal of preventing adverse metabolic outcomes.
